DJI RC 2 controller is not connecting to DJI Neo

If your DJI RC 2 controller is not connecting to DJI Neo:

  1. make sure the Neo firmware V01.00.0300 or higher is installed (how to update the firmware)
  2. make also sure the RC 2 firmware v02.07.0000 and fly app v1.14.0 is installed

I spent too much time trying to connect manually via bluetooth and wifi. The RC2 controller had the latest firmware and fly app version installed, however the Neo firmware was not up to date. An update to V01.00.0300 fixed this.
